Final from the Lexington Catholic tournament.

Collins will play Simon Kenton tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 for I believe the 5th place game.

Beechwood lead a lot of the first half but Collins took over on the 2nd half. They especially dominated the last 10-11 minutes of the game.

Collins had 29 points off 15 Tiger turnovers. Beechwood had a 3 point lead at halftime.

@statman So is Beechwood done now or do they play tomorrow as well?

The bracket was really strange in my view. It would seem to me that if you win your first game in a 16 team tournament, you are guaranteed to place in the top 8 teams. As it was, if you lost in the quarterfinals, you got put in the 5th place bracket. Every team losing their first round game was placed in the 7th place bracket. Every team who played in the tournament was guaranteed 3 games, but only 8 teams were guaranteed 4.

Having said all of that, we are on our way back to Fort Mitchell.
