If this game was played on a neutral floor, Wolfe would have won this game by 20. Ref’s called 18 fouls on Wolfe County in the second half alone, but it still wasn’t enough. Good win through adversity for the Wolves.

Nice win by the wolves.

As I rooted my Polar Bears with all of my might, I was reminded of a few things:

 

1- my Polar Bears are coached by the best. Coach Reed has his boys fired up and ready for every game.

 

2- it’s clear Coach Cooper taught that mountain school a thing or two about NKY hoops. Those boys can play. I’m figuring Coopers legacy of Polar Bear Basketball was what propelled them over the top.

 

3- it’s just another scrimmage. Coach Reed is smart. He knows that in a Draw District every game until tourney time is just a scrimmage. He’s using these opportunities to hone these boys into the perfect storm of ready!!
