Game tied 49-49 with 8.8 seconds left, Haven Ford goes length of the floor and scores with 0.9 sec left for the win, Rowan moves on to the finals Thursday night vs East-Morgan winner

I'm surprised Russell even was in it after 3 starters fouled out. I listened to the game and it sounded like Russell didn't get a very good whistle at Rowan. Rowan didn't have a single player foul out. Russell missed Aubrey Hill as well who didn't play and hasn't the last couple games. I do think Russell will be fine if and when Hill gets back to full health.

It is kind of hard to win When the 3 leading scorers and starters for the game are in foul trouble for most of the game. Russell didn't get much from the bench tonight which allowed Rowan to come back and win imo. Russell lead 48-46 1:37 to go. I think Russell would've won had 3 starters not fouled out even without Hill who is a starter as well when healthy.

The starters who fouled out were Shaelyn Steele, Malia Blevins, Kaeli Ross.

Scoring went like this for Rowan

Blevins 6, Ford 25, Haynes 2, Melton 2, Ricer 6, Rogers 5, Rose 5.

For Russell

Blevins 12, Jachimczuk 4, Quinn 5, Ross 14, Ruggles 2, Steele 12.

Ford is tough to handle..... I’m guessing she’s the reason 3 starters fouled out?

I don't think all of it was Ford. Something isn't right when not a single player for Rowan fouled out in 32 minutes and 3 fouled out for Russell.

We'll see if the whistle is any better next time in January 24th when these two meet again at Rowan. Hopefully Hill will be fully recovered from her acl tear by then.
