An overall good showing in New Jersey this past weekend for an Invitational for four of the 2018 State Champions. SHA went down to #s 1 & 2 nationally, but defeated a previously unbeaten #9 team on a corner after time had expired.

Really great games played by SHA. Take away the 7-0 halftime score in the first game of the weekend vs Eastern Voorhees ( 19 time State Champs) , SHA settled down and played close to even the rest of the way, defeating previously undefeated Wyoming Seminary 2-1 on a corner with no time remaining.

 

The girls learned a lot and built some confidence heading into next weeks State Tourney.

Sacred Heart is clearly the favorite, but I'm pulling for Manual.
