Tiger freshman defeated DeSales froshmore team to move to 5-0. DeSales had halftime lead of 8-7. St.X scored go ahead TD with about 1 minute left in 3Q. Tigers wore them down with depth in 4Q. Tiger defense played great surrendering only TD in 1Q. St.X starting QB was out injured but back up QB Ben Strong played well today. RB Jack DeCamillis had good game on the ground. Next up for Tigers is Trinity next Thursday at St.X.

DeSales had 17 sophomores. I’m surprised they don’t have enough freshman to field a frosh team. Guess part of trend of less kids playing football these days.

I think these are good games to play at the freshmen level. Sometimes I think these type of matchups would benefit Trinity as well.

That's unfortunate that there is such a decline in participation. I hope this trend doesn't last long.
