July 22, 20197 yr Sorry to report that the Toppers Pizza joint at the corner of I-471 and US 27 next to Jimmy John's has closed. Too bad. It was my favorite pizza places for carry out when I lived in Cold Spring. I was probably easily their oldest customer. They had a wide variety of pizza and bread sticks, that were fast and convenient. While the staff were more suited for a rock concert, they always treated me right and we got along fine. With that said Alexandria is getting a Domino's in the old Gold Star building across from Southern Lanes. The new Gold Star on the site formerly occupied by LaRosa's is set to open. Just what we need - More Pizza and Chili.
