Thought we had no contact during OTAs? How does an O-lineman tear a labrum? Weight room mishap? Grabbing and holding a D-lineman that blew by you? Just don't see how this should happen, unless there were issues before. Anybody know more?

 

During OTAs there is no full pad contact. However just like with 7 on 7s there is still some contact and hands on that happens. Especially with lineman during drills. Lineman drills even without pads can feature a good deal of contact and using their feet and hands.

It just sucks that once again the Bengals won't get anything from their 1st round pick in their rookie year. That is something that has hurt them a lot over the last 4 to 5 years.

 

Yes, if I was a college player I would not want to be drafted in the first round by the Bengals, we’re cursed right now!
