Final per ESPN Elizabethtown.

Tigers shot very poorly in the first half and went into the break down 31-16 and were down 14 in the 4th before staging a huge comeback, cutting it to 1 late. Marion led by 4 when Bardstown scored with just under 10 seconds to play.

Tigers got the steal but couldn’t get a shot off late. There was some discussion after the final buzzer among officials as to whether there was a MC foul on the final play before zeroes (lots of contact) but the lead official waved the game final.

Mason Sullivan led all scorers with 18 for MC, and Tyshay Epps had 14.

JJ Traynor continued his great play of late with 14 points, 16 boards and 8 blocks. JaRel Montgomery and Tereylin Calbert had 10 each.

Even with a loss good to see Traynor come into his own to end the year. Expecting a big senior year for him next year.

He turned it on in a big way down the stretch. Bardstown should be a region contender next year.
