Franklin hung around for most of the game. Mason came on late in the third quarter and into the fourth to kind of take control. BG will need to play better in my opinion to beat Clinton.

Bowling Green has made a habit of late of playing just well enough of late, but ultimately, they get the wins. They will definitely need second half Isaiah Mason more moving forward. I began to wonder if he was injured or something. He barely scored against Warren Central and then went scoreless in the first half of this one. He nailed two threes from pretty much the same spot to jumpstart Bowling Green when they were only up three, and they weren't seriously threatened again.

 

As for Clinton County, if the Bulldogs shoot that way again, then yes, they can threaten Bowling Green. Maybe it's just over-reliance on history, but I just don't see that happening. Bowling Green has never lost to Clinton County in the region tournament, and the closest result from those was 11 points. There's also how much more used to this Bowling Green is - they've made five straight finals. Clinton County hasn't won a region semifinal game since 1960.
