Wow!!! What a game. Twice the Commanders had a twelve point lead, only to see the Apollos 20 straight points and hang on for the 37-29 win.

The biggest difference in this one was inconsistent QB play by San Antonio and a secondary that forgot to show up in this one.

The Commanders led 12-0 after one quarter. Kenneth Farrow, II (Houston) had a touchdown run and Evan Rodriguez (Temple) (Had a one yard touchdown catch.

Farrow ended the day with just 13 carries and 74 yards.

The second half was action packed, with the teams combining to score 31 points.

In the third quarter alone there was 14 points scored, with 11 coming from the Commanders.

Gilbert hit Jalin Marshall (Ohio State) for a 23 yard touchdown to make it 29-26.

Fry hit a 47 yard field goal and this was a 32-29 game.

Keith Reaser (Florida Atlantic) picked off a weak Woodside pass and returned it 38 yards for the score. After Gilbert hit Rannell Hall (UCF) on the two point conversion, we had a 37-29 game.

I watched this one as well. Very entertaining game. It was fun watching Spurrier back on the sidelines.

After being born and raised an Orlando Apollo’s fan, I can confidently say this may be our year.
