State Wrestling Championships begin Friday at Alltech Arena

Best sport around. Sorry, it just is. Great tournament, some great matches, but great googley moogley we've got to find a better venue than AllTech Arena.

 

This was the last year of the contract. Unfortunately, Alltech checks a lot of the boxes needed to host a tourney of this size, not to mention it's centrally located. There just aren't that many places around the state that are big enough to hold 8 mats, and not be too big for the event.
