Junior infielder Blake Palmer has passed away. He was the 2018 30th district tournament MVP as a sophomore. He was an amazing young man and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

WLKY did a great job of honoring this boy's memory during their segment. SCPS Superintendent James Neihof is a class act and a very upstanding guy who always seems to have the right words even in tough times like this. Hempridge road is a pretty bad road from my experience, and it breaks my heart to know it claimed the life of such an outstanding young man.
