Did anyone have the opportunity to watch Scott scrimmage Newport High last night? Just looking for your thoughts on how you thought Tamara Sneed looked.

Unfortunately I had to work and didn't get the opportunity to catch the scrimmage last night however I was told that the Ladycats looked sharp and came away with the victory. shsbballmom do you have any insight on how the scrimmage went?

Hi Ntp Wildcat. I did not get to go, However, my husband did, and my daughter played against Tamara. She said Tamara was impressive, and everytime she got the ball, she drove to the basketball. However, she did say that Tamara was the biggest part of the team.

Right where Tamara left off last year she's been the key player for 4 years now couldn't expect any less now she's a senior.

Unfortunately for the LadyCats that's their problem. One person is not going to win all of your games for you. The rest of the team needs to step it up and take some of the burden off of Sneed.

I seen her play and she was the best player in the 9th region last year imo. She is going to have to carry the Cats again, unless they have a few other players step up. Good Luck to all team this year

I agree that one person cannot carry a whole team. But, I do wish her the best of luck this year at Newport.

The Cats are missing two key players from last years squad Price was their perimeter threat and Darnell is still rehabbing after tearing her ACL the last game. Now with more experience I expect big things out of Sophomore Jennifer Bivens and Senior Emily Bowling should be able to step up and knock some shots down. The season should be interesting good luck Coach Slone and the Ladycats.
