November 14, 200619 yr Actually Alexander, the single season touchdown leader which trumps anyone the Giants might be missing, has missed 6 games. Hasselbeck has missed 3 1/2 games. Your on record saying that your team is missing 7 starters on both sides of the ball. Would you care to trade your LB's DE's etc with the Seahawks and have to miss that many games with Barber and Manning and compare records. I didn't think so, sit Barber and Manning out the next few games and see how many you win. Neither player is as good as Alexander or Hasselbeck. How did Seattle come in to this conversation in the first place? 2ndly, the Giants are 5-1 in their last 6 games, even with the injuries. They just ran into a really good team, and the Giants D-Line got worn down. Now comparing injuries are offering a trade of injuries makes no sense what so ever because different injuries affect teams in different ways. I'd think you would know that, if you watch football. And losing Alexander and Hasslebeck hurts, but come on lets look at who've they played. Chicago (lost by A LOT), St Louis (stole a win there, with Hasslebeck), the Vikings and KC...both LOSSES, and Oakland and St Louis again. Not really impressive IMO. The Giants on the other hand, have for the most part taken care of business even with the injuries, winning the last 2/3 games with the injuries stacked up. Yes losing Alexander and Hasslebeck hurts, but to say that the Giants injuries mean NOTHING because the Hawks can go 3-3 without Alexander simply makes no sense at all. The Giants injuries hurt them whether Alexander and Hasslebeck are on the sidelines or not.

November 14, 200619 yr In the NFC this year that would only mean that they aren't putrid. So why don't we just do away with the NFC then? Since New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina, Minnesota, Green Bay, Dallas, Philly, St.Louis, Seattle, San Francisco, etc....they alll just plain stink. Let's just let the AFC battle it out for the superbowl, and tell the NFC guys to go home and watch from the couch, because they dont deserve to walk on the same field!!! :laugh:
