January 11, 20197 yr From accounts of people who have been around Murray, 5’10 is very generous. The dude is 5’7. But Russell Wilson is the same way. Wilson isn’t a hair over 5’9. Murray can play in the NFL. I have no doubt about that. Wilson measured 5'11" at the combine.
January 11, 20197 yr Wilson measured 5'11" at the combine. I’ve never met Wilson so I don’t know. I’m 5’11 so if I had met him I would be able to give better insight. All I know is people who have been around him say he’s not 5’11.
January 12, 20197 yr I find the BB vs FB thing very interesting for Murray. If he is a first round NFL pick, what is his guaranteed money - $10-15MM?? I don't know. Also, the NFL lifestyle is MUCH better than the minor league BB lifestyle. Do you want to be on an NFL team or a minor league team taking buses to games for the next 3-4 years before you are hopefully called up to the major leagues? IF he makes it in BB, over the long haul, he would be better playing BB but there are no guarantees that he ever makes the major leagues. It is not an easy decision.
