Congrats! Quite a bit of attention devoted to joining the 1,000-point club in the article about last night's Mason County - Augusta game in today's Ledger-Independent.

 

During the contest, a milestone was hit as Jaylen Lofton became the 25th member in Royals program history to hit the 1,000 point mark. Lofton needed 13 coming in and crossed the mark in the second quarter on a 3-pointer.

“It feels great. Knowing only 25 people in this program have done it and I’m one of them now it feels amazing,” Lofton said. “I give thanks to my teammates. My teammates push me every day, they were more excited than I was to get it. They were counting down for me. I appreciate everyone that’s been with me through this process.”
