Final. Will take on Johnson Cent. on Sat. Dec. 1 for the third straight year and this will be the rubber match with each school winning one each.

FS came out firing from the beginning. Long drive all on the ground to start the game and the defense pitched the shutout. Tre Bass broke school records for most rushing yards and most rushing touchdowns in a season. The yardage record had stood since 1975 I believe.

I thought this was kind of eerie. While Franklin-Simpson was beating Taylor County in the Kentucky 4A state semifinals, Florida State University High was beating Taylor County in the Florida 3A Region 1 finals (30-22). Both were home games for Taylor County.
