Congratulations South Oldham.

Fern Creek put up a gallant fight - they scored on their first possessions of each half - and actually led, 6-0, to start the game. But special teams - particularly the kicking game - really hurt the Creek, and South repeatedly worked from a short field position.

 

I think FC may also have been surprised by South's quickness. While not quite on a level with the Tigers, South got a lot of big plays thanks to their speed.

 

Kudos to both teams for a hard-fought game on a bitterly cold night.
