I’m not saying they should based on how they’ve played, but they will. I don't believe so. A win over a very mediocre football team isn't going to move the needle. Especially if WV boat-races TCU like they're going to.

November 7, 20187 yr Author I will believe it when I see it, but does anyone think WSU can be that fourth team to make the Final Four? Sort of like how UW did a couple years ago? Nope. Too many things would have to happen. If you go ahead and give spots to Alabama and Clemson. You’re left with 2 spots for Notre Dame, Michigan/ Ohio State, and Oklahoma/ West Virginia. The scenario that gets Wazzu in would be Notre Dame having two losses and either the Big 10 or Big 12 Champ to have 2 losses or both the Big 10 and Big 12 Champ to have 2 losses.

As long as Ohio State beats Michigan State this week, which is far from a certainty with the way OSU is playing, they will be at 7 in next weeks poll.

The only way OSU is ranked ahead of LSU after this week is if LSU loses to Arkansas.
