On October 5th, Pulaski grabbed an early lead versus Lincoln County (7-4) before its offense fell stagnant. The Maroons (9-2) had to hang on for a 27-21 win. Pulaski is coming off of its largest offensive output of the season versus Whitley County in round one, while the Patriots put on a great defensive showing at Letcher Central. Can Lincoln County carry over that defensive effort and slow down Pulaski, or will Wiley Cain and Jake Sloan put on an aerial circus?

With rain called for towards the end of the week...it will be a mud hole. Whichever team is the best mudder in this race will have a distinct advantage.

With Pulaski playing at home and with their offense seemingly clicking, I like their chances to advance...I'll say, 38-21 Pulaski wins.

Like it takes rain to make that field muddy. The sprinkler system on the visitor side has been known to malfunction at times. I’m j/k PCers... kinda.
