#7 Paducah Tilghman travels to Elizabethtown for their round 2 matchup. These teams have had 2 common opponents this season. Paducah Tilghman defeated Hart County 50-7 and Trigg County 51-27. Elizabethtown defeated Hart County 34-7 and Trigg County 61-33. Both teams have shown the ability to find the end zone quite easily as of late. E-town does not commit penalties, does not turn it over, and plays their assignments on defense. They are disciplined, fundamentally sound, play solid special teams, and also get under your skin. This E-town team is not as good as last year's athlete-wise, but don't let that fool you: they are dangerous in other ways.

This is one of the more disciplined PT teams in a while. Tilghman in a close one.

I think E-town wins this. The first game of the year they looked like a team that was really close to being extremely good. Ten games later they have become used to winning and they are at home. This is one of those teams that when they line up offensively or on defense they look confident and they execute. Should be a good one.

Two similiar teams. They both run the ball well while E-town has an advantage in the passing game as most teams do against Tilghman.

 

Tilghman has had a terrible time this season keeping people on the field due to injury. Although still a few guys short, the biggest majority are ready to go.

 

The E-town defense yields about 110 ypg more than the Tilghman defense on the ground for the season. I'll take that as the difference maker against Tilghman's very good rushing attack.
