I'm not sure I know what you're asking....The committee ranks them independently from week to week. Basically, come next Tuesday they don't pull out these rankings and say, "well teams 1-4 all won, so they stay the same, etc.", they start with a blank slate each week.

October 31, 20187 yr Author No it has to do with a fact that they are ranked in the top 10. That wasn’t what we are talking about and you know it. You arbitrarily brought Ohio State into a conversation about UCF.

They don’t look at any rankings. They look at stats like SOS, SOR, Opponents winning percentage, opponents opponents winning percentage, etc. in the end though the only criteria they are given is to find the 4 best teams and while the data helps them formulate that decision all they really have to say in the end is we think team a,b,c,and d are just better than everyone else and they don’t have to have any definite data to prove that.
