FINAL

I didn't see this one posted yet

Another Rail Cities Bowl Win for the Rams ! Raceland's ORANGE CRUSH Defense made the stops they had to along w/ getting the key turnover ... fumble recovery on the one yd. line leading to the winning TD. Defense dominated for both teams.

Another good, hard hitting game between two of NEKY's Premier programs. Rain like it was tonight is the great equalizer in this kind of game.

Congrats to Rams LB, Sr. Nolan Smith for being named the MVP for Raceland. I'm sorry that I couldn't quite hear the name of the Russell MVP (Jenkins, I believe).

Good luck to Russell in the playoffs next week .

Rams … Enjoy this one tonight, this weekend. Starting on Monday, get ready for Bishop Brossart coming in for the first round playoff.

I posted a thread as soon as the game was over it was on page 2.

Raceland capitalized on two big mistakes by Russell for both of their scores. The Rams moved the ball at times, but couldn't finish drives. Russell couldn't move it at all outside of their opening possession. That was pretty much the game.

Russell battled hard. They've come a long way in the last several weeks, just not quite far enough to get it done versus a very good opponent. They need to put this behind them and reset their focus for the postseason.

Congratulations to the Rams. I guess we'll let you guys hold on to the Rail Cities Bowl trophy for another year.
