This is one of the better inter-class regular season finales in the state this week. Obviously, Mayfield (9-0) is Mayfield. But Caldwell County (7-2) has been playing extremely well of late. The Cards have dominated most of their rivals in recent years, but Caldwell does have three wins in this series in the past decade.

While I like Mayfield in this game, I think Caldwell will play well and challenge for a while. But it's been since 2008 since the Tigers have won in Mayfield. Just don't think this is the team that ends that streak.

Caldwell will score on a couple big plays but I like Mayfield 49-21.
