6A #1 Male (8-1) hosts 6A #8 Manual (5-3) after a 28-13 defeat to 6A #3 Saint Xavier. Manual is coming off a 17–14 win over 6A Pleasure Ridge Park. Last year Male defeated Manual 27-20. This is the oldest rivalry in KY and one of the oldest in the Nation. The first game was in 1893. Male leads the series 85-45. Who wins?

I think Male wins; looking to get that bad taste out of their mouth from last week. Side note, didn’t realize the series record was that wide.

Can’t wait to see some of the old heads from both sides. Manual really held their own in the 70’s and 80’s. I think Lucas had Wolfe’s number for a few years more recently.

 

Both teams are banged up. Male has a deeper program but this game is usually played close. With the weather being a factor I look for Male to dominate the los. The Bulldogs haven’t been great on offense the last few weeks and seemed to not be able to tackle either.

 

Manual will be keyed up for this game. How much can their young players be expected to contribute?
