September 17, 20187 yr Author Ohio State looked good. TCU was better than I anticipated. Penn State, like everyone in the B1G outside of OSU, is trash people. Ohio State will destroy them. I'll be interested in seeing if anyone in the B1G can stay within 3 scores of the Buckeyes. I don't see it at the moment. How much Penn State have you actually watched?
September 17, 20187 yr How much Penn State have you actually watched? Don't need to. They got incredibly lucky to beat Appalachian State. No quality team struggles to beat Appalachian State.

September 17, 20187 yr I like to look at the entire sample. Not one outlier. But what has Penn State done to make you say they are a good team? I think it's early but at this point how can you come to that conclusion?
September 17, 20187 yr Author But what has Penn State done to make you say they are a good team? I think it's early but at this point how can you come to that conclusion? I think they looked pretty decent against Pitt. But I also trust that they are going to continuously get better.
September 18, 20187 yr Was good to see the Bucks get a big W, on the road (and yes, it was imo a true "away" game, in only a few miles from TCU) vs. a very well coached , talented / ranked TCU team. One more tune up game before OSU goes into PSU. On a side note … What great job, considering the situation, that Coach Day has done ! I do hope that the OSU Admin. sees fit to make coach Day some very good $$ reasons to stay in Columbus as the off. coordinator and / or asst. head coach, etc., whatever it taked. Day is one of if not the most desired hires for a head coach in the country.
September 20, 20187 yr Bosa had core muscle surgery. According to Rapoport, recovery is about 6 weeks. Huge blow to the Buckeyes.
September 20, 20187 yr Author Can’t replace a Nick Bosa. Makes the trip to Penn State that much more difficult. But no excuses, next man up. The Buckeyes schedule while he is out is manageable. Just as long as he’s back in time to put Shea Patterson on his butt all game on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Also he has a pro career to think about; that injury sounds like one of those hamstrings that need time to heal. Could be tricky

Could be tricky All I know about the injury is what I’ve read saying the recovery time is up to 6 weeks. It will be something to monitor.
September 20, 20187 yr Beat Penn State and Wisconsin and it will. Don't think that'll be an issue at the Big House...
September 20, 20187 yr Author Don't think that'll be an issue at the Big House... I’ll believe it when I see it.
September 20, 20187 yr I’ll believe it when I see it. In regards to Penn State: See 2016, 2014, etc.... In regards to Wisconsin: See 2016....
