August 7, 20188 yr Stephenson is only 25 lets not act like hes some washed up vet. He had a 3.30 ERA 11 starts in the 2nd half of last year. Last 10 starts in AAA have been excellent. 7-2, 2.28 ERA. He’s struck out 73 and walked 26. Going 6 innings or better in 7 of 10 starts. He's kept his walks down which has been his biggest issue. He's earned this, lets hope it's not just one start. Hope you're right, his numbers are impressive but he is still walking too many, over 4.5 per 9 innings, almost as many as he has allowed hits, 6 per 9 innings. That is kind of odd.

August 8, 20188 yr Well Stephenson can't throw strikes today. He walked deGrom on 4 pitches with the bases loaded. All on breaking pitches.
