KHSAA Realignment Page

 

In the link provided above, I saw something in there that's confused me to no end.

 

In the section where it tells you what weeks to prioritize your district schedule, it says that in a 3 team district that in Week 9 teams A & B play each other...in Week 7 teams B & C play each other...in Week 5 teams A & C play each other...but here comes the confusing part.

 

In the list that is show in the link, it states that the next 3 scheduling dates those teams are to reverse the sites and play again...so am I really seeing things or are they requiring teams in a 3 team district to play each other twice in the regular season?

 

If they're making them play each other twice during the regular season then would you eventually play two teams a total of three times in a season due to the current playoff stricture?

 

I hope that I'm just imagining things.

Any ideas folks???

 

I know this could only happen should there be teams that decide to drop out of district competition but from the looks of it teams will be playing each district opponent a total 2 times each in a 3 team district.

I thought it meant that the first three weeks were for 2007 games and the rematches were for 2008.
