They are playing only a JV schedule in 2018. I can't imagine they will ever be considered among the best in Lexington. Only 250 kids in the high school as it is and over $20,000 to attend.

I agree they probably won't ever contend for the best team in Lexington but they will be well coached. I think they will be competitive in 1A in 3-4 years.

I know alot of folks are down on Lexington football but I thought there would be more input/thoughts on this. Personally I think it's going to be a very interesting couple of years in Lexington football. The emergence of FDU has put the others on notice to step up or be left behind. Bold prediction; a Lexington school or two will make it to Kroger field in the next two years.

I seriously doubt Trinity would schedule LC and I have no idea why LC would want that beat down but what do I know.

Lexington Catholic played Louisville Saint Xavier for years in a home and away series.

Big, big step and LC isn't what it used to be. That being said, you have to play the best to beat the best.
