I would have thought it impossible...

...that the KHSAA website would have conflicting numbers on a same page. As of 9:30 PM Central Time Wednesday:

I keep track of everything from scores, coaches, records, etc. to shoelaces (almost)...and the final record for Johnson Central is listed as 20-12. But if you count the losses (including today) there are 13.

And it's the same for all three of the other teams who fell short. The scores of today's games are reported on each school's respective page, but the over all record (listed at the bottom of the page as "Region:__ Win-Loss Records") doesn't include it. Since that stuff is all (presumably) fed into a computer, is it possible that one category is done by hand?

The final record for Murray is listed as 32-2. But if you count the losses (including today) there are 3.

Same for Harlan County: 28-2...but now three losses.

Bowling Green 20-12, but now 13 losses.

It's certainly not all that important in the big picture, but for figure filberts like me 'tis puzzling.

I too have run into this short-term discrepancy in the former and actual win-loss record.

I run a popular website where I often write stories of games, using information garnered from the KHSAA (Riherds) site.

There have been several cases where I have discovered that I have posted wrong information due to the gap between the actual score being posted, and the overall win-loss records lagging behind.

I've noticed this before too, and typically by the next day the win/loss record has been updated to be accurate. I've wondered just like you why it isn't automatically updated along with the win/loss info on a team's schedule. :idunno:

It’s usually the next morning before the records are updated even though the score is on the scoreboard.

The Win-Loss records section does not update until several hours after the last score is posted. It does update automatically on the app
