Congratulations to Boyd County, Boyd County will play Webster County out of the 2nd region at the state tournament Thursday at NKU. Game time is around 6:30 pm

I expected nothing less from these two teams. Two great players (Robinson & Wheeler) with strong supporting casts that have battled each other all season long.

 

On paper, Boyd and Webster look similar. Both have 27 wins against tough schedules. It's definitely a winnable game for the Lady Lions. If they make it to the quarterfinals, they would meet either Scott County (Boyd lost a barnburner to them back in December) or Manual, who just knocked off the #2 team in the state to win their region. Either way, Boyd County's path to a deep post-season run is a tough one. Best of luck to those girls. Gotta support the local teams when they make it to state.
