Anderson Count 58 Walton Verona 54

Featured Replies

Final. Walton controlled much of the game. They went up by double digits at one point in the 3rd quarter. Anderson did well to claw back in it.

I heard Walton stopped attacking and that let Anderson back in the game.

WV had some critical turnovers down the stretch that really hurt. Anderson made a bunch of big shots in the 4th quarter. An outstanding game by both teams.

Walton missed a few free throws in the 4th Quarter when they were up by 3-5 points. I thought Anderson used their height very well and got several tipped passes.

WV went 22-26 from FT LINE. Had a couple bad turnovers. Have to give Anderson Co credit. They made some plays in the 4q and shot 10-24 from 3s. Sometimes you just have to give the other team credit

Surprised at that stat. They must have missed 3 of the four in the 4th quarter. I just remember them going to the free throw line about six times in the last 5 minutes and missing some. But you would know better than I.

That is exactly what happened. WV's kids outplayed Anderson for 3 quarters and then their coach tried to take the air out of the ball. The L is on him, not his kids.
