Mayfield 22 Fulton City 8

Mayfield looks AWFUL the last two weeks!!!!!! A few thoughts!

**Fulton City "D" is hard-hitting, looks like there "D" strategy is find the man closest to you and knock the snot out of him, then find the ball! Very vunerable to big plays because of this. Teams could play 5 more times and FC's offense won't score on Mayfield unless it's a fluke big play. Just don't have the line for it

**Frankly from what I am hearing is the Center-QB exchange is Shelton's fault. Apparently it occurs almost daily at practice and the coaching staff doesn't address it, just says don't do it again. Someone told me that ever since Asst Coach/QB Coach David Morris left the staff that Shelton's trouble with the snap has increased. My take is that he is not getting the coaching he needs to correct the problem and it will continue to occur til someone helps him.

**Mayfield's O-Line is not very good, they are young though!

**Mayfield's "D" is decent, but they still aren't pressuring the QB like a typical Mayfield team and the angles they take are pitiful!

** Mayfield has NEVER been good at the no huddle, I'll admit the system is easy enough for me to understand, but it's not Mayfield football style and is not working in my opinion!

good posts, I cant argue with anything you said, though I have no idea about the QB-center exchange

IMO, Mayfield came into the last 2 weeks knowing they should win the games and didn't give any respect to there opposition..Not just the players but the coaches too and when they feel that way, it's not the kids fault..They seem to play up or down to the opposition, but, with all the turnovers and penalties lately, that'll eventually come back to haunt you...
