* Nice win for Holy Cross after the emotional 3 overtime win on Saturday night vs Beechwood.

Birds had the ball down 2 twice under 8 seconds and couldn't convert.

 

Niehaus hot in 1st half and Schrand in the 2nd for HC.

 

Sisson saddled with foul trouble in 2nd half hurt the Birds.

Impressed with Freshman Vincent for Highlands, ran the PG spot well and hit a huge 3 under a minute to pull within 2. He took the final Bird shot from just beyond half court on a designed inbound from full court with 1.5 ticks left. That speaks volumes.

Thought for sure it was going in, I was behind HC bench and it looked good when he let it go

Vincent is mature for a freshman...good handles and great shot. He'll be fun to watch over the next three years
