Woodford County Girls Soccer

Woodford County annually fields a very good soccer team. Two years ago they were defeated in the state championship game. This year was no different, with Woodford County's girls soccer team finishing the regular season with a final record 11-4-4.

 

Here is my question: Why didn't they participate in the postseason? I have no idea and it seems really odd. Were they on some type of probabation? Just curious if anyone knows.

There was a thread about this a couple weeks ago.They played to many matches and were suspended by the KHSAA.There was also an article in the Lexington Herald about it.

Thanks, guys! I'm not a follower of girls soccer but a buddy of mine brought this to my attention and I told him I would figure it out.
