October 20, 200619 yr I think, he's lost a step or two in his running speed and hard to tell, but that usually translates into lateral movement as well. Perhaps he can, make the move back to SS if ever given an opportunity. Couple of trips to the HIT Center and he'll have that step back in no time .
October 20, 200619 yr You know, I really couldn't tell you, but I do know that would be what he would want, and I'm sure he would try. 3rd is a longer distance to 1st so maybe he would still have the arm to throw but I would say it would take time to get him back in the groove of things. It would be a toss up and it's hard. If it were me I would try to see A-Rod at SS because he felt more natural there and it may cut down on his errors and up his production. Boost his self confidence. Not from the hole, it's not. It's not like he has spent the last 10 years not playing the position. The first time he probably played third in his life was when he went to the Yankees. I would say that a little work in the off season and he would be right back in form before spring training ever started.
