The Wildcats finish their first varsity season at 4-4. The wildcats couldn't get into the district this year so they end their season on an up note winning three in a row.

Also they only lose three kids off this team so the future is bright for this young program. Best of luck to the three seniors.

Next years district will include Bracken County, Frankfort, Trimble County and maybe Eminence. Gallatin probably could have finished third in that district this season and with a good deal of talent returning, they might very well win it next year. Best of luck.

 

Also, congratulations to Jackson County's young program. They haven't had the most success but they're playing hard and improving weekly. They step into a tougher district next year (Casey, Garrard, Somerset, Taylor, Wayne), but hopefully they'll continue to improve.

Gallatin County looked really good for a first year varsity program. I saw your win of Carroll County and was very happy for you to get your first ever win with a rival school. Congrats to all involved.
