Thanks gold sunrise! It's nice to see GRC support- win or lose!!

Madison Central came out and took care of business tonight. Good ballgame tonight in Winchester. These two teams have a good chance of playing again in the playoffs.

Madison Central offense looked very good, could run or pass at will against GRC defense. Great job by Mark Scenters and the offensive line of MC tonight, there were holes all night and Chaz Hope had all day to throw.

MC defense looked good at times, still had some problems stopping the run. Two turnovers by GRC really hurt them. The trick play was a good call and Ricky Rhodes stripped the ball at the 1 yard line, not the 5. #42 for GRC is a tough runner, had a good game until GRC got behind and had to pass.

MC is in very good position for the district title now. If MC wins out, and Lincoln can take care of Montgomery, MC wins the district title.

Anyone who was wanting to hand Lincoln the district title needs to hold that thought, MC has won 4 straight district titles and the game at Lincoln in 2 weeks is setting up to be a huge game.

I really can not follow your math, lets say it plays out as you think, Montgomery finishes the season with two losses, Lincoln and MC both have one loss how does that give the district title to MC? Before you give that 5th straight title to MC you need to hold that thought, I dont think the four in the past have anything to do with the one on the line now.

In response to the top 4, the District title is not earned until the 2nd week of the playoffs. Right now, they are playing for the top seed and games at home. Granted, the top seed is certainly in a good place, but not District champs yet. It's nice to see Lincoln and Montgomery on the upswing!

What is so hard about my "math"? This isn't calculus.

If Lincoln beats Montgomery and loses to Madison Central, and Madison Central beats North Laurel and Lincoln, then both teams have 1 district loss and MC wins the tie-breaker with a head to head victory.

If Lincoln wins out, that would put Montgomery, Madison Central, and GRC with 2 district losses apiece. That is when a 3-way tiebreaker would be used. With Montgomery not winning a non-district game, that would drop them to the 4 spot. They would play Lincoln in the 1st round. GRC would play in Richmond the 1st round.

Montgomery County could win out and get the #1 seed in the playoffs as well. The 4 playoff teams are pretty much set, the seeding is not.

This is assuming no upsets occur, such as GRC doesn't lose to Whitley or Madison Central doesn't lose to North Laurel.

Madison Central, can not stop the run up the middle. GRCs, #42 ripped a hole in there defense with 8 in the box. MC, biggest problem is they can't stop the "RUN" and when you play Lincoln and Montgomery, and you can't stop the run. Well let's just say:cry:

I said MC "still had some problems stopping the run", they haven't been able to stop the run all year. If they could, their only loss right now would be Highlands.

It didn't look to me that GRC could stop the run, or the pass if you want to start talking defense.
