November 11, 20178 yr Author Is it possible for 2 conferences to get 2 teams? Let' say Georgia and Bama win out and play a classic SEC conference championship game. They could both get in. Let's say Miami beats ND (ND is then out), OSU/MSU beats Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game (no Big 10 team in most likely). Let's say TCU beats OK but then loses the Big 12 title game. Let's say Clemson and Miami win out and play a classic ACC title game. Could the final four be Bama, Georgia, Clemson and Miami? I know there are a lot of "let's say's" above and it is not likely but is it possible... It could be. If Miami can beat ND today then I think we definitely need to start having that conversation. I'd love to see Mark Richt vs Georgia in the semi finals. That would be fantastic. But I don't think Miami beats ND so it will be a mute point.
November 11, 20178 yr My hopes are Alabama, Georgia, Miami, and Oklahoma/TCU, but it will probably be Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, and either Georgia or Oklahoma. I don't think the Big10 will get a team in. I agree w/ MB. I don't think the BIG 10 gets a rep in either!

I do NOT like ND but have to admit they have been very impressive this year. BTW, it is a "moot" point, not "mute" point...lol
