October 24, 20178 yr What do you make of the heisman race so far? Does the winner of the game this weekend in Columbus also become the new heisman front runner?
October 24, 20178 yr 1. Saquon 2. Love 3. Mayfield 4. Barrett 5. Adams Replace Barrett with Jackson. I'm not 100% positive Barrett would be in the top 5 if it were only QB's.
October 24, 20178 yr Author Replace Barrett with Jackson. I'm not 100% positive Barrett would be in the top 5 if it were only QB's. Look up his #'s. I'm not going to sit on here and defend Barrett. It will work itself out. All I will say is he is in the conversation and has some huge games ahead to have a heisman moment. He's the leader of the #1 scoring offense in the country right now, so he has a chance for sure.
October 24, 20178 yr Author Barkley Jackson Mayfield Hurts Adams I like to see that you have Adams on your list as I think if ND keeps winning he has a good chance. But you're leaving Love off your list just to spite me at this point. Haha

Haha :lol2: Nope. Stanford sucks. There's other RBs on teams with playoff aspirations that are just as worthy. That's why he's off the list.
October 24, 20178 yr Author :lol2: Nope. Stanford sucks. There's other RBs on teams with playoff aspirations that are just as worthy. That's why he's off the list. He's 2nd in Heisman odds from every single sports book. Haha Who ever said you have to be a NC contender to be in the Heisman running? Lamar Jackson, RGIII, Johnny Manziel. At this point Stanford is the best team in the Pac 12 IMO. If they run the table and win the Pac 12 would he get consideration from you?

But then spite would probably kick in and I still wouldn't list him. :lol2:
October 24, 20178 yr Author Maybe. But then spite would probably kick in and I still wouldn't list him. :lol2: :meh:

I did. He would be in the top 5 of QB's but 3rd or 4th. And Jalen Hurts is the QB of the #1 scoring offense.
October 24, 20178 yr Author I did. He would be in the top 5 of QB's but 3rd or 4th. And Jalen Hurts is the QB of the #1 scoring offense. No he isn't Bama is 6th. Maybe you're looking at total points, but Bama has played 8 games and OSU 7.
October 24, 20178 yr No he isn't Bama is 6th. Maybe you're looking at total points, but Bama has played 8 games and OSU 7. Totals points, they are #1. Points per game they are 6th. OSU is tied for #1 in points per game. Should we put McKenzie Milton in the running if leading the #1 scoring offense gets you in the top 5? Only reason JT is even in the discussion is because he plays for OSU.

Should we put McKenzie Milton in the running if leading the #1 scoring offense gets you in the top 5? Only reason JT is even in the discussion is because he plays for OSU. The #1 scoring offense is the team who averages the most points per game. Milton plays for UCF, we both know thats a bad argument. You can say JT is only in the convo because he plays for OSU and you're probably right, but at least there is data there to support he at the bare minimum belongs in the conversation. I'm not going to act like I think JT is worthy of winning the heisman at this point, but all of the opportunity is ahead of him and what he has done to this point is certainly notable.
October 24, 20178 yr JT Barret being a Heisman candidate is hilarious, he's done nothing against good opponents to prove it. Hurts is twice the football player that Barrett is and it's not even close. Anyway the Heisman is Saquan Barkley's to lose.
