Harlan 38 Williamsburg 20

Featured Replies

Harlan has a real fine team. I was impressed with the Lundy kid especially. For Williamsburg, the Root kid was the big play guy this game, 3 receptions for over 100 yards from the fullback position, with 3 TDs. Hamlin and Moses were limited by injury and Root really stepped it up on offense. He also had a very nice game on defense with over 20 tackles and a pass break up. If Harlan is playing Somerset at home they have a shot. Just have to be ready for the speed the Jumpers bring. Hopefully the "Burg will win out and see the Dragons again come playoff time.

:thumb: Frazier and Hamblin are great players, but Aaron Root is the real deal. He is everywhere!

Thanks Pappy...not only is he a wonderful player, but a quality person as well!

That there Root youngin is a solid player for his size. Too bad that he does not have a 6'2 frame, then he might be playing for the Vols or Notre Dame. Heck he could just do like old Rudy and make his own movie or something...he culd call it ROOTY. :thumb:

Williamsburg special teams have got to get better or they are going no where.

:thumb: Better kicking would definitely help. With the speed available, I'd say coverage would be good if kicking was better. I'm sure kickers are doing their best. Its tough on small Class A schools to have consistent kicking.
