Acutually, UK is doing quite well compared to the rest of the top 5 basketball programs of all time.

1 Kentucky 5-2, 2-2, 4th in the SEC East

2 UCLA 4-3, 2-2, 4th in the PAC12 South.

3 North Carolina 1-7, 0-5, last in the ACC Coastal

4 Duke 4-4, 1-4, 6th in the ACC Costal

5 Kansas 1-6, 0-4, tied for last in the Big 12

I think that is an interesting point and I'd like to hear other UK fans perspectives. But would you rather keep things the way they are now where they have a dominant basketball program and a mediocre football program? Or would you rather be a school like Michigan State who is very good year in and year out in both major sports, but hasn't found a way to win a national championship since 2000?

I love UK. I went there. Yet, I've never had high expectations for football. While I would like to see Kentucky win a SEC championship and would be delirious with division crown, I'd never want to sacrifice a consistent Final Four program for it.
