But would you rather keep things the way they are now where they have a dominant basketball program and a mediocre football program? Or would you rather be a school like Michigan State who is very good year in and year out in both major sports, but hasn't found a way to win a national championship since 2000?
October 24, 20178 yr I think that is an interesting point and I'd like to hear other UK fans perspectives. But would you rather keep things the way they are now where they have a dominant basketball program and a mediocre football program? Or would you rather be a school like Michigan State who is very good year in and year out in both major sports, but hasn't found a way to win a national championship since 2000? I love UK. I went there. Yet, I've never had high expectations for football. While I would like to see Kentucky win a SEC championship and would be delirious with division crown, I'd never want to sacrifice a consistent Final Four program for it.
