The Cardinals win in a slugfest, go to 3-4 on the year and 2-0 in District. With the win, Nelson virtually assures themselves of a playoff spot. Congratulations to Coach Bruner and the rest of the Cardinal coaching staff, who are starting to pull it all together.

 

Next week the Cards host John Hardin and Mark Brown, and will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of N.C.'s 1996 State Championship.

They are running a lot of I-bone and straight wishbone on offense. They were running more of a 5-2 and 5-3 sets earlier this year, but played a lot of 4 man front last night defensively.

Nelson Co. is a great team when you minus the fumbles!! Great jobs cards. Work on the passing game..
