Russell comes in at 3-1 and not sure about Ashland.

I guess the big question is will the freshman who have played varsity for Russell play against against Ashland in the big game?

I don't think it's a matter of will they play, but how much will they play? They all played tonight against Greenup to varying degrees. Being that this is the Kiwanis Bowl, they might go all out for four quarters. But, on the flip side, Russell plays Bath County the following night in a very important district game that could decide whether or not Russell gets a home playoff game. TJ might not want to exhaust his freshmen starters the night before the varsity game. We'll just have to wait and see.

I hear Ashland's got a good freshman class. I'm somewhat familiar with Keontae Pittman and maybe Caleb Tackett, but not really anyone else.

Ashland Freshman team I think is undefeated. 8th grade team is very good also and won their game last weekend in Lexington in the playoffs.
