A total team win for the Jackets after a total team breakdown last week ... very exciting game throughout and the NC defense really stepped up against a very fast Comet team ... #1 and #18 are a handfull to try to contain for 4 quarters ... both teams played hard and very good sportsmanship from both sides... very good win going into district play ... doesn't get any easier next week with a solid Brossart team ... Jackets need to take that same excitement and fire they played with last night on the road with them ...

Very disappointed in the Comets last night. 3 first quarter drops, 2 touchdowns called back due to holding penalties, 2 second half turnovers (P. Brown fumble) (C. Rivers interception), and a missed field goal. All of that will get you beat by a team that you should beat. Hats off to Nicholas County they did not quit or lay down after West Carter had some explosive scores, they also played very well on special teams.
