Ram
Class 3A The King of 3A just won't go away. Belfry retakes the top spot away from Corbin after a busy weekend in Northern Kentucky against a pair of small school traditional powers. The Pirates made short work of 2A Newport Central Catholic as the Pirates offense continued to post video game numbers, meanwhile Corbin could not hold off 1A Beechwood in a game that lived up to the hype. Corbin wasn't alone in defeat as Lexington Catholic, Elizabethtown, and Central all took losses against extremely stout competition. Boyle County had perhaps the most impressive win of the Top 10 as they crushed 4A #2 Wayne County, the Rebels will now look to make it two for two against the next class higher as they take on #3 Collins. 1. Belfry vs. 1A #10 Pikeville 2. Corbin -- OPEN 3. Boyle County at 4A #3 Collins 4. Elizabethtown vs. Thomas Nelson 5. Central vs. 6A #2 St. Xavier 6. Caldwell County at 6A Henderson County 7. Lexington Catholic at 5A Highlands 8. Western Hills vs. 1A #9 Frankfort 9. Fleming County at 5A Montgomery County 10. Casey County at 6A Jeffersontown
charlesw88
All eyes are on Boyle County vs. Collins. Does Boyle County keep that fire or do they have a let down? If the quarterback position continues to improve like it did last week I'll take Boyle County by two-three scores. If the quarterback play is mediocre it will be a dog fight. Boyle County better be ready to play this week. Collins is a solid team.
gchs_uk9
Interesting to see Lexington Catholic drop to seven. Their two losses were very ugly, but they were to good teams in Covington Catholic and Lexington Christian. I'm guessing wins over Madison Central and Lafayette aren't as impressive in reality as they are in name.
