Who is the best team in the east?

Several teams are showing what they have early. What's your thoughts?

Hazard is still the top dog in the east till they are beat! They had a stumble against a good Somerset team but I believe they are still the team to beat in the East as long as they get healthy!! I was super impressed with them last year in the State Championship Game and they returned most of that team!

A healthy Hazard IMO opinion is the best. Without Smith, I'd have to say Paintsville or possibly Raceland. The Tigers have a very solid defense this year.

I agree with all of this. A healthy Cory Smith makes Hazard the top dog in the East. But Paintsville is waiting in the wings to pounce if his long term health is up in the air. Raceland appears to be coming along nicely. They look to be ahead of schedule in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year.
