6A Chances of Running the Table

Featured Replies

Below is a chart of the regular season chances of the remaining undefeated teams in 6A to finish without a loss. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Should Ohio County, Scott County, PRP, or St X be higher than a 1% chance of remaining undefeated? Ratings taken from Calpreps.

SK and T would meet in this year's semifinal correct?

Actually, the quarterfinals.

If Trinity takes care of the 'Neers and/or Camels, they travel to the Region One survivor.......possibly Meade County or McCracken County the day after Thanksgiving. The other "half" will need to come to Louisville on Friday November 24 unless a couple of upsets occur.

It is district 4 vs. 6 and 1 vs. 2 in Semi-State 1 half of tournament

It is 7 vs. 8 and 3 vs. 5 in the Semi-State 2 side.

Odd numbered districts host in odd numbered years when seeds are higher and when seeds are equal in the quarterfinals.

Trinity gets a break by representing the lower numbered district when both districts are even numbered. Opposite is true in the three vs. five mentioned above. If both 1s win their first two games, district five will host the quarterfinal game.

I think Central Hardin wins Region one. Mccraken and Meade neither are that good this year.

Ohio County is a nice story but their three wins have all came against smaller competition. They beat a poor 2A school in McLean County by only two points, allowing 38 in the game. I can't imagine them winning at Henderson County (September 22) or at McCracken County (September 29).

Seneca won't beat J-Town so I see a second game with the Redhawks at Marshall Stadium (but that's OK everyone DESERVES to be in the playoffs :deadhorse:)

I believe that other then SK vs. #4, the Jefferson County teams win in round 1 and I wouldn't be shocked if Ballard beat SK in round 2 but I'd much prefer Trinity to have that honor week 3.
