MHSCardinal
When you lose your best player and 2 other really good players due to transfer, that hurts.. The Tiger D has some experience and are pretty solid, especially there secondary, who had a couple of picks, one taken in for a TD and several other breakups.. They did have a few breakdowns and Mayfield took advantage with 3 or 4 big plays, but, the Cards ran the ball much better this week, rushing for over 230 yards on 38 carries, over 6 yds. a carry and controlled the LOS and a couple of those breakdowns were when they were cheating up to help the run D.. The Tiger offense is where they're really young and inexperienced.. They have some athletes and skill players and I think they'll get better as the season wears on, just, right now, they need some games under there belts against some teams they can have some success with and build some confidence.. Mayfield and S.Warren aren't the 2 teams to do that against..
