WKU/EKU Predictions

Here is the only one I found so far. Pretty funny and clean fun. I remember WKU was all over national news last year for the banners they made the week of Vanderbilt. Give it a google.

People can rag (rightfully so) about WKU's mediocre attendance, but the students really show out in droves for WKU. I think being in school when WKU has been relevant is a big part of that and will hopefully drive a new generation of alumni. I graduated a little over a year ago before shipping off for medical school, and the culture when I was there changed a lot since that UK 2012 game. Students are becoming more and more anti-UK/UL and are actually actively engaged in athletics. Hopefully they continue that as alumni, and the fan base will only grow exponentially.

Alright, rant over! The weather is looking great for kickoff this Saturday. I'll be flying into BG tomorrow evening for a much needed break all weekend.

Contrary to popular belief on this site, EKU is going to have to recruit FL and GA hard like they used to if they want to get back to winning titles. It's nice that they are showing interest in KY kids but you can't win FCS titles without high D1 transfers and speed.

Coach Roy Kidd had a real dynasty at EKU for years. I always thought U of K missed the boat by not hiring coach Kidd when they had the chance. This is a storied rivalry in the state, so throw out the predictions and hope for a real barn burner.
